1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign up via OAuth (Google, GitHub, Kakao, Discord), we receive your email address, display name, and profile identifier from the provider. We do not store your passwords.

Activity Data: We collect data about your interactions including battle votes, quick rates, chat messages with AI characters, card collection, directing actions, and scenario/relationship selections.

Device Information: We store your language preference, content rating setting, and authentication tokens in your browser's local storage.

Analytics Data: We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymized usage data including page views, session duration, and feature engagement. Google may set cookies for this purpose. You can opt out via your browser settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and personalize the MusePick service
• Generate AI character responses tailored to your conversations
• Track your Muse Points (MP) balance and activity
• Improve service quality through aggregated analytics
• Send in-app notifications (muse messages, level-ups, ranking alerts)
• Prevent abuse, enforce content guidelines, and ensure platform safety

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third parties only as necessary to operate the service:

• Anthropic (Claude AI): Chat messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for AI character responses. Messages are processed according to Anthropic's usage policies and are not used for model training.
• Google Analytics: Anonymized usage data for service improvement. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• OAuth Providers: Google, GitHub, Kakao, Discord — only for authentication.
• AWS: Infrastructure hosting (Lightsail).

4. Data Storage & Retention

Your data is stored on servers operated by MusePick Labs. Chat messages, votes, and account data are retained until you delete your account. We use local storage for session management, language preferences, and authentication tokens. Google Analytics may set cookies for analytics purposes.

5. Your Rights

• Access: You can view your data in your profile page.
• Deletion: You can request account deletion by contacting us at contact@musepick.ai. All personal data will be removed within 30 days.
• Portability: You can request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Opt-out: You can disable Google Analytics tracking via your browser settings or ad-blocker.

6. AI-Generated Content

All character images, personas, and chat responses are generated by artificial intelligence. They do not represent real people. Character names are randomly generated and any resemblance to real persons is coincidental. Responses may be inaccurate, fictional, or inappropriate. We continuously improve content quality and safety filters.

7. Children's Privacy

MusePick is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. T-rated content requires age confirmation (15+). If you believe a child under 13 is using the service, please contact us.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls. However, no internet service can guarantee 100% security. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users within 72 hours.

9. International Users

MusePick is operated by MusePick Labs. Your data may be processed in South Korea. By using the service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in accordance with this policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be notified through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
