Terms of Service

1. About MusePick

MusePick.ai is an AI character chat service operated by MusePick Labs. You can hold immersive story conversations with AI characters (“Muses”) of many different personalities, and create and publish characters and stories of your own. Characters, images, and chat replies are generated by artificial intelligence.

2. Eligibility and age confirmation

MusePick is available to people aged 14 and over. On first use you go through a step confirming you are 14 or older. We are not responsible for problems arising from a false confirmation, and an account may be deleted if use by someone under 14 is confirmed.

Service content may include romance and drama at a level suitable for readers aged 14 and up. Adults-only content is not offered at present; if it is ever offered, it will be available only to users who have completed a separate adult verification.

3. Accounts

You may sign up with social login (Google and others) or with email, and you are responsible for keeping your account secure. We are not responsible for outages or problems in third-party authentication services. You may not share an account with others or create multiple accounts for improper purposes.

4. Points (MP)

MP are virtual points used inside MusePick. They have no real monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. We may adjust MP grant rules, balances, and point policy at any time.

5. AI-generated content

• Every Muse character is 100% fictional and AI-generated.
• Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is entirely coincidental.
• Chat replies are AI-generated and may be inaccurate, fictional, or inappropriate. They are not professional medical, legal, or financial advice.
• MusePick Labs is not responsible for the content of AI-generated replies. Do not treat AI characters as real people or rely on their advice.
• By using MusePick you are taken to understand that you are interacting with AI-generated content, not a real person.

6. User-generated content (UGC)

You can create and publish your own characters and stories (names, settings, blurbs, images, and so on).

• Rights and responsibility: Rights in the content you create remain yours. You warrant that you hold lawful rights to that content — images in particular — or have permission to use it, and you are responsible for any dispute arising from infringement.
• Service license: For content you publish, you grant us the right to use it to the extent needed to run the service (storing, displaying, generating thumbnails, and serving conversations to other users). Deleting the content ends this license, except that other users' existing conversation histories are retained.
• Prohibited content: (1) sexualization of minors or characters who appear to be minors; (2) glorifying or encouraging sexual violence or crime; (3) use of a real person's name, photo, or likeness; (4) unauthorized use of others' works (webtoons, games, illustrations, and so on); (5) hateful, discriminatory, or illegal content.
• Review and enforcement: Created content is subject to automatic AI rating, and we may review content and adjust its rating, unpublish it, or delete it. Prohibited content may be removed or blocked without prior notice, and repeated violations may result in account restriction.
• Reporting: You can report inappropriate content from each story page. We review reports and act on them.

7. Inquiries and suggestions

Ideas you submit through inquiries or suggestions may be used to improve the service. If adopted, we have no obligation to pay for them, though we may grant a reward such as MP at our discretion.

8. Prohibited conduct

• Manipulating the service with bots or automation tools; crawling or scraping
• Extracting, reverse-engineering, or abusing the AI system or prompts
• Circumventing age confirmation, content ratings, or safety filters, or sharing ways to circumvent them
• Uploading, generating, or requesting illegal, harmful, or malicious content
• Harassing other users, or impersonating others or our staff
• Infringing third-party rights such as intellectual property or likeness rights

9. Intellectual property

Rights in official characters, the service brand, the software, and the AI generation system belong to MusePick Labs. You do not own the underlying AI models, generation prompts, or official character personas. Sharing screenshots for personal, non-commercial purposes is permitted. Rights in user-created content follow Section 6.

10. Termination and account deletion

If you breach these Terms or engage in prohibited conduct, we may warn you, restrict your use, or suspend or terminate your account. You can delete your account yourself at any time from [Settings > Delete account]; on deletion, personal data such as chat history and points is destroyed in line with the Privacy Policy. 11. Changes to the service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time. During the beta period, features and points may change without prior notice. We will make an effort to announce significant changes by reasonable means, such as a notice in the service.

12. Limitation of liability

MusePick is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by applicable law, MusePick Labs is not liable for damages arising from use of the service, including AI-generated content, user-created content, data loss, service interruption, or reliance on AI character replies.

13. Dispute resolution

Disputes relating to these Terms or to your use of MusePick are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Both parties agree to attempt a good-faith resolution through discussion before any formal proceedings.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes are announced 7 days before they take effect — 30 days for changes unfavorable to users — and continuing to use the service after a change is taken as agreement to the updated Terms.
